Mark DeBree - Manager, Asset/Liability Management Analysis

Mark DeBree manages the analysts of Southwest Corporate Investment Services' A/LM Service. In this role, he performs analysis and provides consultation for A/LM clients. Mark prepares risk analyses that measure risk embedded in credit union balance sheets and works directly with senior management in discussing risk mitigation strategies. In addition, Mark is responsible for managing the Bancware ALM5 model and works in the development of new modeling techniques relative to emerging market conditions.

Before joining Southwest Corporate in 2002, Mark was an analyst at RichMark Capital Corporation, a privately owned brokerage house and investment bank. At RichMark, Mark was responsible for projecting income statements and estimating future growth and profitability of privately held organizations.

Mark received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in finance from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. He is currently a Level III candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

Aaron Martini - Asset/Liability Management Analyst

Aaron Martini works with credit unions to help them manage profitability and risk. With Southwest Corporate Investment Services' A/LM Department since September 2007, Aaron's responsibilities include building client-specific risk models to analyze and quantify embedded interest rate risk and interpreting the results. He also provides credit union training and consulting services.

Prior to joining SCIS, Aaron was an Investment Officer at Franklin County Treasury in Columbus, Ohio, where he managed a portfolio of fixed income investments in excess of $1 billion. Other responsibilities included: conducting due diligence on collateral and risk compliance, creating long range budgets and financial plans, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations, and negotiating debt funding and issuance.

Aaron earned his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Ohio State University and his M.B.A. from Otterbein College.

Jake Goss - Asset/Liability Management Analyst

As an A/LM Analyst with Southwest Corporate Investment Services, Jake Goss performs A/LM modeling and analysis production for client credit unions of the SCIS Investment Advisory and A/LM Services. Jake prepares quarterly risk analysis reports and works with credit union management to determine assumptions used in the analysis. He is also responsible for mapping data into the Bancware Data Integration module.

Jake came on board with Southwest Corporate in November 2007 as an internal risk analyst and transferred to the A/LM Department in October 2009. Previously, Jake worked as a pricing analyst at MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City, where his responsibilities included pricing bulk mortgage servicing portfolios.

Jake has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Jeff Fransen - Asset/Liability Management Analyst

Using both proprietary and BancWare ALM5 software, Jeff Fransen performs A/LM modeling and analysis production for the Advisory Service and A/LM Service clients of Southwest Corporate Investment Services. His responsibilities include preparing quarterly risk analysis reports for measuring inherent balance sheet risk and identifying strategies and opportunities to manage that risk. Jeff also helps to educate credit union management in A/LM principles, so they can better understand and interpret interest rate risk.

Prior to joining SCIS in July 2007, he was a Financial/Pricing Analyst for MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City. At this position, he was responsible for pricing mortgage servicing portfolios and the monthly economic sensitivity of MidFirst Bank's existing servicing portfolio.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing from Oklahoma State University.

Mark Cough - Senior Asset/Liability Management Analyst

Mark Cough performs analysis and provides consultative services for clients of Southwest Corporate Investment Services' A/LM Service and Advisory Service. He prepares quarterly risk analysis reports and presents results to credit union senior management. In addition, Mark maintains the internal ALPS model, develops new products and processes, and processes analysis on Bancware ALM5.

Prior to joining SCIS in Sept. 2005, Mark worked as a Senior Strategic Analyst for Countrywide Home Loans. Responsibilities included budgeting, reporting and developing strategic initiatives, as well as providing consulting services to executives. He also was involved in developing advanced databases, creating custom reports and analysis and reporting on financial trends.

Mark graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of North Texas.

Nathan Quade - Asset/Liability Management Analyst

Nathan Quade joined Southwest Corporate Investment Services in March 2008 as a National Sales Executive and moved to the A/LM Department in 2009. His primary responsibilities include A/LM modeling and analysis production for client credit unions of the Advisory Service and A/LM Service. In addition, he is responsible for mapping data into the BancWare Data Integration module and assisting with client education presentations.

Before joining SCIS, Nathan held consulting positions and held A/LM roles and titles of Controller and Finance Manager at natural person credit unions for more than 10 years. Nathan has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois, where he was CFO of the Illini Student Federal Credit Union. He is also a Western CUNA Management School and CUNA Financial Management School graduate.

Zane Wilson - Vice President, Investment Services

Zane Wilson joined Southwest Corporate in 1988. He is responsible for the overall operations of the Investment Services division of Southwest Corporate FCU's subsidiary, Southwest Corporate Investment Services. This includes the Advisory Service, Asset/ Liability Management Services, Brokerage Services, CD Brokerage and Term Share Certificate Sales desk, and the Security Custody function of SCIS. Additionally, Wilson oversees the management of the Investment Sales function in bringing in new accounts for Southwest Corporate and new clients to Investment Services. He is also responsible for product development and pricing.

Zane has more than 20 years of credit union investment experience - he was the first Investment Services advisor when the Advisory Service was created in 1988. Wilson was responsible for advising members, as well as assisting in the development and execution of Southwest Corporate's investment strategies. Wilson worked as a portfolio manager for Southwest Corporate's various portfolios while also advising credit unions on their balance sheets, policies, and investment portfolios.

Zane's experience at SCFCU and SCIS includes creating structured products marketed to credit unions, hedging open structured-product positions, issuing $400 million in commercial paper, and matching funds off with floating-rate asset-backed securities and mortgage-backed securities.

Prior to joining Southwest Corporate, Zane was Investment Portfolio Manager for Nowlin Savings Association. He managed the investment portfolio and served as Asset/Liability Management director.

Zane received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Finance, both from the University of North Texas. He holds NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses. He teaches Funds Management and Investment classes at the CUNA Southwest Management School.

Dr. Charles Idol - A/LM Consultant

After attaining a doctorate in business administration/finance from the University of Houston in 1974, Charles R. Idol, Ph. D., joined the faculty of Idaho State University. While in Idaho, he was a director of the Idaho State University Federal Credit Union; from 1981 - 1983 he served as the organization's chairman of the board.

Dr. Idol is an integral member of Southwest Corporate Investment Services team and an advisor to Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union's asset/liability management committee.
